Mckinley Turns One!

We know the Mitchells through a few mutual friends. I was so excited when she asked me to take photos at Mckinley's first birthday party. I love this sweet family and their precious girls!

The party was "baby bird" themed and Alicia went all out with the decorations! After a few years of just shooting little boy birthdays, this was so much fun. Well, because, I love pink. And ruffles.

The O'Dell Family

If you want a perfect baby to photography, Charlotte is that baby. You say her name, she looks at the camera and smiles. Her parents have trained her well.

The entire day of sessions was absolutely gorgeous. There was a small breeze and it was in the sixties. However, when the 3 o'clock time slot approached, dark clouds moved in with strong winds. Strong, cold winds and a little baby do not mix! After waiting in the car for a little bit, the wind calmed down some (not much). We ended the session a little short but I love the pictures I was able to get!

Devin's 1 Year Session

Oh my! Was it freezing for this session! I have been photographing Devin the past year now and I am so sad that this sweet time is over! I have loved getting to watch him grow through these months. His 3 months, 6 months, and 9 months sessions took place at his parent's home. For his 1 year session, we decided to mix it up a little and take them on their parent's farm. Devin liked watching his grandpa herd the cows and he liked just watching the cows. You can see in one of the photos below of him peaking through the fence. But with the crazy cold wind, the session was shorter than expected. However, I am still happy with the photos of the sweet Devin who is now walking! Enjoy! 

Braelyn's 1 Year Session

Oh my, this little girl has been a joy to photograph over the past year! She has always been happy to pose for the camera for me. We took her photos in my favorite location and she had  a blast crawling around in the road! It's sad that I will no longer see her every three months, but it is exciting to see them grow into little people with their own blooming personalities! Enjoy! 

Back to School Part Five {Izzy & Eli}

Meet Izzy and Eli. And oh my, was it much harder to photograph a little boy after all of my sessions with girls! Whether it was bugs, sticks, or simply anything other than taking photos, little Eli was doing it. 

These two twins were so excited about starting Kindergarten! And I hope you enjoy their photos taken during the lovely, golden, magic hour!
