I lied. I am not done posting my fall sessions. I forgot about my own family!!
Every year I look forward to and also dread taking my family's Christmas card photo. This year I knew it would be extra challenging since Owen would be difficult to get to look at the camera. It was also very cold outside and had been raining all week. We also had trouble coordinating all of our outfits. BUT! This ended up being the easiest photo we have done! We asked my grandparents to come along to get Owen to look at the camera. We also wanted to snag some pictures of them as well. I hope you enjoy these! I love them almost as much as I love the people in them!

The Griffin Family
Meet my final fall family, the Griffin's! Their session included both family portraits and their son's senior portraits (which will be posted tomorrow). We arrived at their home on a Saturday afternoon in the middle of November. It was a beautiful day with rain clouds lingering in the distance. They had a beautiful home which made for a perfect backdrop. It was so nice working with this lovely family. Enjoy!

The Davis Family
Meet the Davis family! Oh my, this little girl loved being outside and not taking pictures! Even though she may not be looking at the camera or posed perfectly, I simply love the natural shots I got from this session. We simply let her do her thing. The way she looks at her parents, the way she plays in the leaves, the way she runs through the field, these are the memories I want to capture and give to families! This is definitely not a perfect session, but it did open my eyes to the beauty of natural pictures in real life.
Something new that I am offering this year, and that I am extra excited about, will be lifestyle sessions to highlight your everyday life. I will capture you and your kids playing, cooking, or taking a walk at the park. I will capture them being them. These are the memories we want to remember! We don't need endless photos of fake smiles, we need pictures of the real moments.
